Locations

My project only involves two locations. The interview room and Euiva's living room.

THE INTERVIEW ROOM

This room is going to be very simplistic, but it cannot be too small because I want to fit a lot of equipment in there. I was thinking along the lines of a drama studio or TV studio so I have the space I need. I plan to book the room out that I want closer to the time, but it is likely to be a PAS room at University. Another advantage of using a Performing Arts room is the mirrors and windows, which will be very useful devices for creating avant-garde style shots with my DOP.

I am hoping to achieve this sort of look:

EUIVA'S LIVING ROOM

Euiva's living room appears in the very end scene and in flashes throughout the film. It has to be fairly old fashioned and look as though it would belong to an older lady. It also needs to have a window which Euiva can be looking out of at the end. I decided the best place for me to film these bits is at my house in Woking. The living room is perfect for it and I think the lighting will look really good. Also if the DOP/Actors are travelling from the London area, which most are, it will be just as easier if not easier for them to get to Woking than Winchester so it will not add to expenses.
